Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions describe the conditions for using Inspiring Biblical Leadership resources and purchasing our products and services.

In these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Inspiring Biblical Leadership. “You” refers to the customer, participant, or other person accepting these Terms.

Please review these Terms before purchasing or registering. When you accept these Terms through checkout, registration, or a written agreement, you agree to the provisions relevant to your purchase or participation.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Acceptance of these Terms does not replace separate privacy or marketing consent where required.

1. Our Products and Services

Our offerings include biblical and organizational leadership coaching, speaking, training, mastermind courses, mentoring, behavioral and leadership assessments, books, digital resources, printed materials, and leadership challenge coins.

The applicable product listing, registration information, or written service agreement describes what you receive, the price, delivery format, and relevant conditions.

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter an agreement to purchase or book directly. When acting for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

Participation by minors requires prior arrangements with an authorized adult and any additional safeguards appropriate to the program.

2. Educational Purpose and Results

Our content and services support leadership development, personal growth, learning, and faith-based reflection.

Coaching, mentoring, and assessments do not constitute medical care, psychotherapy, diagnosis, legal advice, or regulated financial advice. Please consult an appropriately licensed professional when those services are needed.

Our biblical and spiritual-growth assessments support reflection and development. They do not establish a person’s worth, salvation, or standing before God. They are not clinical diagnostic instruments.

We do not authorize using our faith-based assessments to make employment decisions. Other assessment results should not serve as the sole basis for significant decisions about another person.

We do not guarantee a particular financial, career, organizational, personal, or spiritual outcome. Your circumstances and application of the material affect results. This provision does not reduce our responsibility to provide the products and services we expressly agree to deliver.

3. Orders, Prices, and Payments

The product listing, checkout, registration page, or written agreement identifies the currency, price, required charges, and payment terms.

You agree to provide accurate information and use a payment method you are authorized to use. Do not submit payment credentials through ordinary email or contact forms.

Submitting a general contact form does not reserve an event date or establish a paid coaching relationship. Customized services require confirmation and any agreed written contract.

We may decline or cancel an order for legitimate reasons such as unavailable stock, a material listing error, or suspected fraud, subject to applicable law. We will notify you and refund payments for items or services we will not supply. We will not charge a revised price without your authorization.

These Terms do not independently authorize recurring charges or automatic renewal. Any recurring-payment arrangement requires separate disclosure and your express agreement.

4. Delivery and Access

Physical products. We ship within the timeframe stated when you order. When no shipping timeframe is stated, we will ship within 30 days or provide the legally required delay notice and cancellation option.

If we cannot meet the promised shipping timeframe, we will offer the choice of accepting a revised date or canceling the affected order for a refund.

Digital products. We provide downloads or access through the method described in the listing or order confirmation. Any access period, software requirement, or material usage restriction will be disclosed before purchase.

Please check compatibility requirements before purchasing. Contact us promptly about missing files, access problems, damaged products, or incorrect orders.

For an order confirmed lost in transit, we will offer a replacement or refund, including applicable tax and shipping charges.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Our published Return Policy and Refund Policy form part of these Terms for applicable purchases.

Physical products. You may request an eligible return within 30 calendar days of delivery. Change-of-mind returns must be unused, unmarked, and in their original condition, with original product packaging when applicable.

Contact us before returning a product and send an approved return within 14 calendar days after receiving return instructions. Customers pay return shipping for change-of-mind returns, and original shipping charges are not refundable. We do not charge a restocking fee.

These condition and shipping-cost restrictions do not apply when we supply a damaged, defective, or incorrect product. We will cover necessary return shipping and arrange a replacement or appropriate refund.

Digital products. We do not offer change-of-mind refunds after delivery or access, except where required by law. We will assist with defective files, incorrect resources, access failures, material differences from the description, and confirmed duplicate charges. When we cannot resolve a qualifying problem, we will issue a refund.

Refund processing. We initiate approved refunds within five business days after receiving an eligible returned product, or confirming eligibility when no return is required, unless law requires sooner. Refunds go to the original payment method. Payment providers may require additional posting time.

Statutory cancellation, withdrawal, warranty, and other consumer rights remain in effect. Where immediate digital delivery affects a statutory withdrawal right, we will obtain the separate consent and acknowledgment required by law.

6. Coaching, Events, Training, and Masterminds

The applicable service agreement or registration terms describe the scope, schedule, fees, participant responsibilities, and cancellation or rescheduling conditions.

Any deposit, cancellation charge, rescheduling restriction, or expiration date must be disclosed before payment. We will not impose an undisclosed cancellation fee.

Please notify us promptly about scheduling concerns. Your active participation, preparation, and follow-through support the development process.

If we cancel a service for reasons unrelated to your breach of an agreement, we will offer an alternative arrangement or refund the amount paid for services we will not deliver.

A service-specific agreement accepted before purchase governs that service where more specific terms are needed. Mandatory consumer protections still apply.

7. Digital Resource Licenses

Purchasing a digital product provides permission to use the resource under the license described in the listing. The purchase does not transfer copyright.

Unless the listing grants a group, classroom, ministry, or organization license, digital materials are licensed for the purchaser’s individual learning and development.

You may not resell files, upload resources to a public website, distribute copies outside the purchased license, remove ownership notices, or present the material as your own.

Obtain permission before adapting resources for commercial distribution or including them in your own paid program.

Permissions expressly stated in a product license and uses allowed by applicable law remain available. After receiving a digital-product refund, discontinue use and delete downloaded copies.

8. Intellectual Property and Maxwell Leadership Materials

Original content, books, assessments, graphics, and other resources belong to their respective authors, owners, or licensors.

This includes rights relating to The Voice of a Leader, Inspiring Biblical Leadership materials, and third-party content used with permission or under an applicable license.

Maxwell Leadership and John C. Maxwell resources, trademarks, and program materials remain subject to their owners’ rights and applicable licensing terms.

Unless a listing expressly states otherwise, you purchase services from Inspiring Biblical Leadership, not directly from Maxwell Leadership or John C. Maxwell.

Participation in our coaching, workshops, or masterminds does not itself award a Maxwell Leadership certification or another professional credential. Any authorized credential offering must expressly identify the credential and its requirements.

9. Respectful Participation and Permitted Use

You agree to use our website and services lawfully and treat other participants respectfully.

Do not harass others, impersonate another person, submit information you lack permission to disclose, distribute malicious software, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with website operation.

Do not use participant contact details for unsolicited marketing or other purposes unrelated to the program without permission.

We may restrict access or participation when reasonably necessary to address misconduct, protect safety, or prevent a material breach. We will provide notice and an opportunity to address the concern when appropriate. Any financial consequences remain subject to the disclosed agreement and applicable law.

10. Confidentiality and Recording

We handle private coaching and assessment information as described in our Privacy Policy and any applicable service agreement.

Group participants must respect others’ confidential information. Because participants control their own conduct, we cannot guarantee complete confidentiality in a group setting.

Do not record, transcribe, photograph, or redistribute a session or participant contribution without prior permission from us and affected participants. This includes using an automated transcription or meeting-recording tool.

We will obtain appropriate permission before recording sessions or using identifiable participant material in marketing.

Coaching confidentiality is not a promise of legal privilege. Applicable law or valid legal process may require disclosure.

11. Reviews, Testimonials, and Submitted Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You confirm that you have permission to provide that content.

When you choose to submit a public review or comment, you give us permission to display and format that submission for its intended purpose. This permission does not transfer ownership.

We obtain permission before using private communications, your name, photograph, or an identifiable client story as promotional material. Edits must not change the meaning of your statements.

We may remove unlawful content, threats, spam, or confidential information. We do not prohibit honest criticism or require customers to give favorable reviews.

12. Website Availability and Responsibility

We aim to provide accurate descriptions and a functioning website, but cannot promise uninterrupted access or a website free from every error.

Contact us about a material error affecting your purchase. We will address the concern consistently with our agreement and applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the agreement was made.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits responsibility for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, liability that cannot legally be excluded, or mandatory privacy and consumer rights. These Terms also do not remove our agreed delivery, refund, or other express obligations.

13. Questions, Disputes, and Changes

Please contact us promptly with concerns so we can seek a fair resolution. Contacting us does not prevent you from making a lawful consumer complaint or pursuing other available remedies.

Applicable law governs the parties’ rights and obligations. Nothing in these Terms waives mandatory protections that apply to you.

We may update these Terms for future transactions and will change the effective date. Material changes to an existing paid engagement require any notice or agreement required by law or the governing contract.

If a provision cannot lawfully be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
